About Avenue of the Arts

The Avenue of the Arts is a designated cultural arts district, located on a segment of Broad Street bounded by Washington Avenue to the south and Temple University’s campus to the north. Known as Philadelphia’s arts & culture epicenter, this area beloved by residents and tourists alike, is home to many of the city’s well-known theatres including the Kimmel Center (home of the Philadelphia Orchestra) and the Academy of Music.
