Elegance in its simplicity. One of three new homes in the desirable Penn-Knox neighborhood of burgeoning Germantown. On a quiet, tree-lined block, 154 W Price Street is a stunning new construction home. This home is not your standard new construction finishes and design. If you are looking for something different and more to your superb taste, this is it. Designed by the renowned C2 Architecture, this bespoke 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home with 2-car Parking has a large, private rear yard and roof deck, high-end finishes, beautiful oak floors, high ceilings, and stunning light. Finished Lower Level. Large, open light filled spaces. Curated finishes and fine custom millwork throughout. Marvin windows, solid core doors, and white oak hardwood floors throughout. On one of Germantown’s most desirable blocks, One block to Ultimo Coffee, the Salam Café, and the Waldorf School and a quick walk to Clifford Park, Vernon Park, Rittenhousetown, and the Wissahickon Trails, and the new Weavers Way Germantown Co-op (in progress). Quick drive to Center City, East Falls, Manayunk, Mount Airy & Chestnut Hill, and so much more. NOTES—The photos for this home are of the adjoining home, 156 W Price, which is under contract. The finishes and layout are identical (i.e., mirror image).

A couple of recurring, rotating events that we have covered in previous ATBs:
– Top Gun: Maverick in Clark Park on Friday at sundown (approximately 8:30pm)
– Luca at Fernhill Park on Friday at sundown (approx. 8:30pm)
– Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in Bartram’s Garden on Friday at 8pm to 10pm
– The Super Mario Bros. Movie at McMichael Park on Saturday at sundown (approx. 8:30pm)
– Shrek in Peddler’s Village on Saturday at sundown (approx. 8:30pm)
Next, The traveling beer garden known as Parks on Tap is at it again! This weekend’s location is Matthias Baldwin Park in the Spring Garden neighborhood. This park is also a historical site that was once inhabited by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. The bustling brewery will be there on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4pm – 10pm.
Another adult beverage garden, just a few blocks from Mathias Baldwin Park– Rodin Museum’s Garden Bar Pop-Up. Open every Friday from 4pm-8:30pm, enjoy refreshing cocktails and delicious small bites, all while being surrounded by the beautiful garden oasis. Tickets to the pop-up are free, and the Museum has a “pay what you wish” policy for its admission.

Enjoy the opportunity to be dazzled by the beautiful art at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens on Friday from 7pm-10pm for their special “August Twilight in the Gardens”! From their site–“All Twilight in the Gardens events are BYOBBS (Bring Your Own Booze, Blanket, and Snacks), so bring your supplies and picnic in our space! This month you will delight in a lively performance by Damon ‘Mr. Dizzy Fingers’ Bennett in our mosaicked courtyard. At our art tables, artist Jihan Thomas will help us create Compassion Collages, where we’ll adhere fabric and textiles to a small mirror. These mirror collages will encourage softness, grace, compassion, and acceptance when receiving our reflections in the mirror. Tickets are required and range from $16 to $25.
Get a little “jazzy” at Penn’s Landing this weekend for the Waterfront Jazz Festival! The 2-day event is on Friday and Saturday and is free for all ages. Enjoy live performances from award-winning (and Grammy-nominated) artists while taking in the Delaware River views. The festival will begin on Friday at 6pm and Saturday at 2pm.
And while at Penn’s Landing, and for something pretty different, how about pirate-themed ghost stories, scary surprises, and cocktails at the Shipwreck Saloon. This limited show is for a few days only, through Sunday. Oh yeah… “and trust no one.”
