Super Fun in South Philly
It’s happening on Sunday, 7/28/19 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on East Passyunk Ave (between Broad and Dickinson Sts.) It’s South Philly’s biggest festival and block party. Yep, it’s the 14th Annual Passyunk Car Show and Street Festival. Not into antique, show, classic and custom cars? No biggie. There’s live music, DJs, Kids stuff, food trucks and tons of specials at neighborhood bars and restaurants. Just look for the festive balloons to find locations offering great deals. Soon to Be My Favorite Cedar Park Garden
It’s coming soon, next month to be exact, and it will be the first wine-only garden along Baltimore Avenue. A recent article quoted co-owner, Nazaret

“It’ll be like coming into someone’s backyard to enjoy some wine and entertainment.” Once open (8/2/19), The Wine Garden will pour vintages that can’t be found at neighborhood state stores, and will also feature natural and organic wines. This spot will also offer cool events like yoga and a monthly art fair on Saturdays.

“Free to Be You and Me”Where’s the place to be on Saturday, 8/3? That would be North Broad St. Philly Free Streets is back! This annual event has it all – a Beyonce-inspired exercise session, pop-up picnic areas with yummy local eats, painting with Mural Arts, and my personal favorite, an educational session on the Vision Zero program to reduce traffic deaths (hosted by the Office of Transportation, Infrastructure, and Sustainability.)
