Happy Easter,
Compass IPO,

This week was Passover, Sunday is Easter, yesterday was Compass’s IPO, and yesterday also ended one of our most prolific months ever.
Last week, I wrote about Passover. The theme… “Next Year in Person.”
This week, I wish all who celebrate, a joyous Easter. May the Easter Bunny bring you so many sweets that it makes you, and if applicable, your kids’ dentist really happy. My five-year-old Ezra asks me multiple times a day (literally), when Easter will be here. Getting close, buddy. It is tomorrow! BTW, Ezra has already advised that “Easter is the day we get to eat candy even in the morning.”
Also, I am extremely proud to work at such a stellar company as Compass. The finest agents in Philly and the country. Named the best place in Philly to work (and it is!). And as of yesterday, a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange (COMP on the NYSE). Robert Reffkin, Jeff Bedard, Skye Michiels, John Bilek, and all of Compass’s management and staff are the best of the best. Mazel Tov to them all! And I was delightfully surprised when I got home today to see the below package waiting for me on the kitchen table. The company sent me a celebratory bottle of sparkling wine. Amazing.

Finally, what a month for me and the City Block Team. We just enjoyed our best first quarter ever. $24,558,900 in closed transactions and a whopping $31,246,400 in written deals so far this year.

Exciting Reopened Attractions

This Thursday the Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens reopened with new health and safety measures, including advance ticket purchases and mask requirements for both indoors and out.

The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s Pop-Up Beer Garden at South Street also returned for the season on Thursday. The garden is open 7 days a week and has required health and safety guidelines.

The 18th-century home of William Penn’s secretary, Stenton, welcomed back visitors on Thursday. It is open Thursday through Saturday for tours by appointment.

Enjoy the immaculately landscaped garden of the historic Andalusia opening for tours Saturday. Advance reservations are required.

Want to get in shape? Head to Dilworth Park for Center City Fit. Optimal Sport 1315 Walnut will have its professional instructors and trainers host free outdoor fitness classes for participants of all skill levels.
Monday evenings will be dedicated to Zumba and Tuesday night classes will change each month, with options such as Boot Camp, HIIT, Speed Training, and more.
