Having lived and worked throughout Philly, Maria has a great appreciation for the unique characteristics that our city of neighborhoods has to offer, from the amazing restaurants and shops, to the local art, to the thriving communities.
Maria loves helping her real estate clients with this most important life and investment decision. Her ability to listen to her clients’ wants and needs and then cater to their specific preferences really sets her apart. Maria excels both in communication and understanding the finer details of the sale. She has expansive knowledge of Philly neighborhoods and what each has to offer as well as a keen eye for design and architecture. No matter the situation, she prides herself on never pushing her clients and always making sure they are comfortable.
Prior to her real estate career, Maria started off in the restaurant industry as a server, bartender, and eventually manager at the South Philadelphia Taproom, where she began to hone her customer service skills and handle high-pressure situations. Maria was also a holistic yoga instructor and created yoga classes for the workplace, tailored to individual and group needs. As an instructor, Maria worked on building her students’ confidence and self-esteem.
Maria joined the City Block team for the amazing support it provides and its commitment to providing expert real estate representation.
Outside of work Maria enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks and hikes, and visiting Philly’s many live music venues and museums. She is also a volunteer and member of Docomomo, a nonprofit dedicated to the conservation and documentation of sites, buildings, and neighborhoods.
