Since relocating to Philadelphia from the rolling hills of Bucks County, Deannah’s passion and obvious enthusiasm for The City of Brotherly Love has grown in spades. At a very young age, she was immersed in the inner workings of a family-owned Real Estate Brokerage.
“Many kids grow up watching their grandmom in the kitchen and then go on to become great chefs. For me, observing my grandmom and my mom helping others actualize their dreams of homeownership brought out the entrepreneurial spirit in me and was likely the impetus behind becoming an agent. Having strong female role models was a key ingredient in heightening my confidence. In essence, my family truly helped me put my third-generation leadership skills to good use. I learned early on that women need not fall prey to traditional stereotypes, but rather, shoot for the moon (or a condo on the moon).”
Deannah’s personal and professional mantra has always been to put the needs of others first. She studied early childhood education and then went on to pursue opportunities as a master yoga instructor in high schools, daycares and athletic teams. Facilitating the progress of others is in her DNA. It’s what drives and motivates her to give her best each day.
What’s in Deannah’s secret sauce? Many feel that it’s her natural ability to build strong relationships built on trust and mutual respect. Her supportive and proactive nature bodes well in the yoga studio but also in her career as an integral part of the City Block Team. Both require a great deal of flexibility and dedication. She infuses energy and passion into helping clients when buying or selling a home and takes her role seriously, best evidenced by praise from her clients who continuously comment on her calming nature and her tenacity to deliver what they’re seeking.
When she’s not busy with open houses, appointments and phone calls, you can find her exploring every corner of Philly – especially its fitness studios, coffee shops and restaurants.
Deannah is also a licensed realtor in New Jersey.
